Modal Perdana is organizing a venture capital internship program in 2007 in Silicon Valley, U.S.A. The program will be open to all eligible Malaysians and be hosted by Hi-Tech Venture Capital L.P. in Palo Alto, California.

The objectives of the program:

- To provide an opportunity for local venture capital companies, investment-related establishments or other interested parties to expose their staff to the venture capital practices as practiced in Silicon Valley, U.S.A; - To provide interns with the opportunity to develop new skills, experiences and perspectives with emphasis on the start-up technology companies. Interns will have the opportunity to learn the process of:   • Technology evaluation;   • Business due-diligence;   • Legal scrutiny. - To build a professional network in the Silicon Valley - To provide not only the tangible knowledge but also the intangible value of building a professional network in the Silicon Valley.
